An owl, perhaps thrown out of the nest by the wind

I open the window shutter in the kitchen and see a bird of prey looking at me.

An owl, perhaps thrown out of the nest by the wind, the previous evening. Or a little boy who ventured out of the house too early.

Honestly I didn’t know if and what he needed, on lunch break I went home and he was still there, the same evening. I tracked down a gentleman who looks after animals in need of help and brought it to him.

He told me he was healthy and roughly needed only food. Also according to him, he was a child who had ventured out of the nest without being able to fly yet. He kept it and fed it for about a month and then, once he saw it could fly, he released it.
